Izzy HAS BEEN ADOPTED-2011

Rescued in September of 2011. She is out of Bold Ruler and she is 16 years old, 16.3 hh She is also a relative of Seattle Slew. She was going to auction but lame on all fours so her fate would have been grim. Her registered name is Pretty Patty Slew.  Pictures of this beautiful mare are of her after gaining much needed weight. She still has a way to go!
She came to us with and abscessed hoof. We have living proof in our Rescue that horses never forget the good people in their lives! Recently Izzy was found by her former owner.This owner has been searching for a long time for this horse. The lady that took her promised the owner that Izzy would have a forever home.. she bold faced lied and sent her out to be auctioned. But as luck would have it for Izzy she came home to our Rescue barn. This lady tracked her down and they were reunited two Friday's ago! Izzy remembered her ..she nickered and rubbed her head and just plain was thrilled to see her. They know...they know beyond a shadow of a doubt! Just look at Izzy! She never forgot the lady who showed her so much kindness and love! We were thrilled to be part of this reunion! This lady has also taken her in and will no longer part with her.
