Volunteerism is the willingness of people to work on behalf of others, without being motivated by financial or material gain.

Volunteer

We are a grass roots organization based in Massachusetts. We rescue horses from Canada to wherever the need arises. Volunteers are the heart of these Rescue efforts. Everyone involved has a special task, loving the horses that arrive here.

Volunteerism is the willingness of people to work on behalf of others, without being motivated by financial or material gain. Volunteers may have special training as rescuers, technicians, trainers and in other positions. But the majority of the work is done on an impromptu basis, recognizing a need and filling it, whether it be the dramatic tending of a horse in peril; grooming & exercising horses or the everyday mucking of stalls.

The general spirit of volunteerism is a gift to all who receive it.

Experience around horses is welcome but inexperience and the willingness to learn are just as welcomed.

If you feel you have time to give to this worthwhile effort and would like to find out more we would love to hear from you.
