Duke came to us under the same circumstances as Daisy one year later. . . starving and he was placed but had to come back into the Rescue.
At the same time, our lawyer had lost one of her horses and came to the rescue to find a companion, oddly enough, for Daisy...
Duke by then had developed what we think is Alzheimer's and it was determined that he was in his late twenties. . . We thought he would never be adopted but live out his days with us . . .
